John comes to us with tremendous business acumen gained over four decades in B2B sales. After cutting his teeth as an outside sales representative, he parlayed that knowledge and success into several General Manager and Vice President roles within the steel industry.
Former employers include Olympic Steel, where he was responsible for driving sales strategies, client services, and operations. John also managed P&L above $100 million for multiple facilities in the steel service center industry in Southeastern United States. Before Olympic, he held positions with High Strength Steel, Delaware Valley Steel, and Pacific Steel.
John is also an entrepreneur. For several years, he managed his personal consultancy, where he advised, strategized with senior management, and assisted in evaluating new product strategies.
An avid lover of sports of all kinds, he is currently focused on continuing his lifelong goal of lowering his golf handicap. John also enjoys gardening, traveling, reading, and volunteering in the local community in mentoring roles.
